AirAsia and Firefly planning to operate low-cost carrier terminal at the Batang Padang district.

Menteri Besar Perak said that the state’s only provide between 1,212ha and 1,616ha of land.The airport can also handle cargo flights. Planning to build international airpor can attract foreign investors.

Meanwhile Penang Chief Minister want Firefly to build its terminal in Penang which he said that the state goverment prepared to make the land available for to build the terminal.

I think that with the new terminal build at that states they can attract foreign investor. The ideas to offer the low-cost carrier to build their terminal at the states is brilliant ideas.
