Syarikat penerbangan murah gantung perkhidmatan

BANGKOK 19 Julai — One-Two-Go Airlines, syarikat penerbangan tambang murah pertama Thailand akan menggantung perkhidmatan sekurang-kurangnya untuk tempoh dua bulan berikutan harga bahan api yang melambung naik.

Menurut kenyataan syarikat penerbangan itu, perkhidmatannya akan digantung mulai Selasa ini sehingga 15 September bagi membolehkan penstrukturan semula.

One Two Go, yang diasaskan oleh Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif, Udom Tatiprosongchai merupakan syarikat penerbangan tambang murah pertama Thailand dan beroperasi sejak Disember 2003 dengan penerbangan sulung antara Bangkok-Chiang Mai.

Syarikat itu mengendalikan penerbangan dari Bangkok ke Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hatyai, Nakhorn Si Thammarat, Phuket dan Surat Thani, dengan lebih 200 penerbangan seminggu dan kapasiti penumpang lebih 100,000.

AirAsia Berhad is a famous brand name which best known for a low-cost airline that main base is the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). It was the second Malaysian National Airlines that benefit to all citizens as their tagline ‘Now Everyone Can Fly’. It is also the first airline in the region to implement fully ticketless travel and unassigned seats.

AirAsia was first established in 1993 and started operations on 18 November 1996 by DRB-Hicom,Malaysian GLC. Due to it debt it was sold on 2^nd December 2001 to Tune Air Sdn Bhd(Tony Fernandes’s) for only RM1 per share. Tony Fernandes then restructure AirAsia’s business model by invited Connor McCarthy, the former director of group operation of Ryanair, to join the executive team. In late 2001, AirAsia was re-launched in with three B737 aircraft as a low-fare, low-cost domestic airline which turning a profit in 2002 with promotional fares as low as RM1.00

AirAsia also is Asia’s largest low fare which affiliates with Thai AirAsia and Indonesia AirAsia.

The company is headquarters in Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, Kuala Lumpur.

Berjaya Air operate DeHavilland Dash 7 aircraft. Its commonly known travel industry and has capacity of 48 seats. Dash 7 operate to Pangkor and Tioman islands.
